Preferred Advisor Selection

An important aspect of every reservation is the selection of a Service Advisor, the person whom the customer will be working with at the dealership. As a OnCALLogist, you want to try to schedule your customers with their PREVIOUS or PREFERRED Service Advisor whenever possible. This is important because the customer might have a long-standing relationship with their Service Advisor and there is a certain “trust” factor there.

Furthermore, Service Advisors will appreciate this sentiment as they work very hard in building their personal “book of business.” A good OnCALLogist should proactively look at a customer’s service history while scheduling in order to see whom the customer has a relationship with at the dealership.  

We have a few special dealerships that are a little different! Please make a note:

McKenney Salinas Honda- Unspecified Advisor

Hagerstown Honda- Call Control Advisor

Ourisman Chevy of Bowie- First Available/ Saturday Advisor

In these cases, if a customer is requesting a specific advisor, you will need to note it. For now, write these dealerships down. You’ll be shown where to enter these notes tomorrow!
